Stage Rental in Minneapolis and Greater Minnesota

A stage is structure before it is scenery. It carries your performers, their gear, and sometimes a grand piano — outdoors, in weather, in front of an audience. MystiQue Sound Solutions builds stages on Staging Concepts SC90 engineered decking, the same modular platform system specified for arenas and broadcast facilities, and we deliver, build, and strike them across the Twin Cities metro and Greater Minnesota.

We have been building stages since 1994. We own our inventory, our crew builds it, and we are on site until the last deck is off the truck.

Portable Stage Rental, Built to Your Footprint

SC90 decking builds to any dimension in four-foot increments, from a 12′ × 8′ riser to a full festival mainstage. Deck heights are set with adjustable understructure frames — 2’–3’6″ all-terrain for uneven ground, 3’–5′, and 4’–6′ — or with fixed and adjustable stick legs for level indoor floors.

Every stage is drawn before it is built. You get a plan showing deck layout, understructure, guardrail placement, and access points, plus the exact equipment list, so there are no surprises at load-in.

  *   Stage sizes from 8′ × 12′ through festival mainstage footprints
  *   Deck heights from 24″ to 6′ on adjustable understructure
  *   All-terrain frames for grass, gravel, and uneven ground
  *   Industrial-grade non-slip deck surface; carpet and skirting available
  *   Wind and load engineering data available for permitting

ADA Ramps and Accessible Stage Access

Accessibility is not an add-on we bolt on when someone asks. MystiQue builds ADA-compliant ramp systems to the 2010 ADA Standards — 1:12 maximum slope, 36″ minimum clear width, level landings at every change of direction, IBC picket handrails on both sides, and edge protection throughout.

Our ramp systems include a dedicated 4′ entrance ramp that transitions from floor level to the first deck, so there is no lip and no threshold. For taller stages, switchback configurations keep the footprint manageable in ballrooms and tented spaces where a straight run will not fit.

If your event is public-facing — a graduation, a gala, a municipal ceremony — accessible stage access is not optional, and we will spec it correctly the first time.

Guardrail Systems: Performer and Public

We carry two Staging Concepts guardrail systems, and the right one depends on who is standing on your stage.

2-Line (TLN) rail is the performer-facing standard — a clean two-rail profile that keeps sightlines open for the audience and the camera. It is what belongs upstage and at the wings of a concert stage.

IBC picket guardrail meets International Building Code requirements for public occupancy, with vertical pickets at code-compliant spacing. This is what goes on VIP risers, ADA ramps, choral risers, and any elevated platform where guests, dignitaries, or the general public will be standing.

Rail comes in 8′ and 4′ sections, so we can rail one edge, three edges, or the full perimeter, with openings sized for stairs and ramp access exactly where you need them.

Stairs, Barricade, and Broadcast Risers

Staircases in 4-step, 5-step, 8-step, and 9-step configurations, all 4′ wide with handrails, matched to your deck height.

Loading ramps for rolling backline, road cases, and pianos up to stage level without a lift.

Concert barricade — Staging Concepts steel front-of-stage barricade for crowd management at festivals and concerts, available in volume tiers with daily and weekly rates.

Broadcast risers for camera platforms, FOH positions, delay towers, and press risers, built to the same engineered standard as the main stage.
