MystiQue Sound Solutions, Inc. has completed a major upgrade to its live audio platform. All three of our DiGiCo Quantum consoles now run Pulse. Our Quantum225 has been converted to the dual-screen DS configuration, and our processing is backed by Fourier Audio transform.engine and Waves.
These upgrades aren’t on order or planned. They’re installed, tested and going out on shows now.
What changed on the consoles

DiGiCo’s Pulse upgrade raises the processing and routing capacity of the Quantum line. On the Quantum112, Pulse lifts the console to 96 inputs, doubles the aux and subgroup buses from 24 to 48, and expands the matrix to 12×12. It also adds Mustard and Nodal Processing capacity.

The Quantum225 goes from 96 to 120 inputs with Pulse. We also converted ours to the DS (dual-screen) configuration. Engineers can keep channel and mix control on one screen and processing, snapshots or an overview on the other. Less screen switching means quicker decisions mid-show.

Our flagship Quantum338 has the Pulse upgrade too, giving us more processing flexibility on our largest, most input-heavy productions.

Studio-grade processing, live
We pair the consoles with two plug-in platforms that complement each other:
- Fourier Audio transform.engine with a licensed transform.suite. This is a dedicated live plug-in server loaded with more than 70 premium studio plug-ins. It runs alongside the console without using the console’s own resources. Details are below.
- Waves is the established live-production plug-in ecosystem that engineers already know. It’s ideal for repeatable house workflows and familiar show files.

Inside our Fourier Audio rig

The transform.engine is a 2U rackmount plug-in server, and its hardware was built by the same team that designed DiGiCo’s consoles. It connects over redundant Dante with 64 channels in and 64 out. It runs studio VST3 plug-ins at latencies down to about 1 ms, and plug-in control sits right on our DiGiCo surfaces.
Reliability is built in. Every plug-in runs in its own protected sandbox, so if one crashes the rest of the show keeps going. The engine then restarts that plug-in automatically, often before anyone notices. Redundant power supplies and redundant Dante back that up.
Our engine carries a licensed transform.suite, Fourier’s curated, annually fixed collection of more than 70 live-optimized plug-ins from top developers. Highlights include:
- Universal Audio: Teletronix LA-2A leveler, Pultec passive EQs, Lexicon 224 reverb
- Eventide: H3000 Factory effects
- Solid State Logic: 4K E channel strip, Sourcerer
- oeksound: Soothe Live resonance control
- Plugin Alliance: Shadow Hills Mastering Compressor, SPL Transient Designer
- Slate Digital, tc electronic, sonible, Harrison and Baby Audio: channel strips, VSS reverbs, broadcast loudness metering and more
Because the suite’s lineup is fixed for the year, a visiting engineer knows exactly which plug-ins are waiting on our engine before load-in. A single line on the rider covers it.
What this means for your event
- Corporate events and galas: cleaner, more intelligible speech and smoother transitions between presenters, video and walk-in music.
- Concerts and festivals: more inputs and buses for bigger bands and more monitor mixes, plus the processing headroom to make them sound polished.
- Broadcast and live stream feeds: dedicated, well-processed mixes for the room, the stream and the recording at the same time.
- Visiting engineers: current DiGiCo hardware and the plug-in tools they expect, ready on arrival.
